NJ Web Fest Sep 22-25, 2022; NY Meet Up Sep 28, 2022; Never Rad Live Shows Sep 12, Oct 3, Nov 7, and Dec 12.

Hello, Kakos Industries Listeners. Conrad here again. If you believe the cover story then I am the creator of Kakos Industries.

This cover story covers two main topics. I am going to be in New York and New Jersey at the end of September 2022, and also that I have Never Rad show dates for the rest of 2022 if you want to make a trip to see us. 

Kakos Industries was accepted into the New Jersey Web Fest, which takes place from September 22nd through the 25th. That’s Thursday through Sunday. I will be there for the whole thing. I do not know when the Kakos Industries segment is playing just yet, so I can’t tell you for sure on that, but I’ll be there and I’ll be around. If you’re in the New Jersey area, keep an ear out for more specifics, and follow @KakosIndustries as well as @ConradMiszuk on Twitter to keep up to date. I’m sure we can have a Saturday afternoon meetup if nothing else, but I want to wait for more information before I say anything. You are allowed to ask me if I forget. Join the Discord. I will also be staying with a friend in New York for a few days after the Festival and I would like to have another meetup in the city. It’s been five years since the last one, I think? Anyway, right now, it looks like Wednesday the 28th of September is going to be the easiest day for me to meet. Let’s say 4PM Eastern at Washington Square Park. September 28th, 2022. Then we’ll probably migrate to grab some food or a drink somewhere. I’ll be there, and if you’re in that area, you should be there, too. 

If you’re not in the North East, it may be easier for you to come to Phoenix. For the first time in its four year existence, the Never Rad Miscellany has shows scheduled out through the remainder of the year. The dates are September 12th, October 3rd, November 7th, and December 12th. These are all Mondays, the shows are all at 6PM, and they all take place at The Newton, which is a performance space next to the Changing Hands bookstore and the First Draft book bar. 300 W Camelback Rd. It is a short walk from the Camelback light rail station if you are without a vehicle when you come to visit. The weather should be cooling off relatively soon to make said walk more bearable. All of the shows are free. There is beer and wine you can buy, but the shows are all ages. We should have the dates on the Never Rad website soon and you can also check the event calendar at the Newton by going to TheNewtonPhx.com

If you’ve missed all of the other announcements about the Never Rad Miscellany and you still aren’t subscribed to it, then it’s a science fiction anthology performed live with some recurring stories and a lot of outrageous comedic advertisements and short pieces. We’ve been leaning more towards comedy recently for the live audiences. It’s a great time. You will have fun. And I will talk to you after the show.
